Today we spontaneously decided to head to Rotorua for some different track time. Because of the amount of rain that fell yesterday most other clubs have cancelled their events but the rain went around Horohoro and the tracks were in pretty good condition. It was muddy and slippery, and some kids had some spectacular crashes but I was able to avoid them. I was going to try out the big track today but after looking at the track layout and how much of it was uphill I decided to play it safe and just fang around the mini track. I hadn’t ridden here since taking out the Interschools Challenge earlier this year and it was fun to be back.
