This weekend was Battle of the Teams hosted by Taupo MX Club which is an annual fundraiser for Team NZ to get to MXON. I was invited to ride for Team Good Times under the Kawasaki NZ tent and it was a great opportunity to get a feel for my new KX112 on a gnarly track. Taupo never disappoints that way. Since it’s been raining since we returned from the US and I have been enjoying my off season, my goal for Saturday was to qualify inside the top 20 and go from there. I had fun, didn’t have any offs and learned a lot. And Team Good Times teams finished 7th in Juniors and 7th in Seniors for 5th overall out of 33 teams.
